Founder: Frances Oldbury

Frances trained at Corona and The London Theatre School.  After working as an entertainer at various holiday resorts Frances decided to go back to education where she graduated with a BA Hons in Music.

Following graduation Frances formed a vocal group called Axis which performed at weddings and local events.  Frances has also been a musical director, accompanist and rehearsal pianist for various local groups and choirs.  These include Zodiac Musical Society, The Young Set, TOPS, Riverside Youth Group, The Manor Players and The Shepperton Players.  Besides running AYP and Axis Juniors, Frances teaches singing and the piano, both privately and for Hounslow Music Service.  She is also involved in various projects with The Extended Schools Network and Hounslow Youth Service with whom she runs various drama workshops.

Carla

Having trained and competed nationally with a local dance  school until the age of 18 Carla has been an assistant choreographer at AYP for a year, working on shows such as Fame, Hairspray and more recently AYP’s first pantomime Cinderella.   Carla also assists with directing and when required turns her hand to stage manager as well.
