Oh What a Night

‘Oh What a Night’  is a cabaret style show that is being staged by the main company Axis Youth Productions.  This show will run from Sept. 16^th – 18^th at 7.30pm with a matinee on Sat. 18^th.   The show will include songs, dance and acting scenes from Disney films, Oliver, Legally Blonde and many other well known musicals.

As you are aware we would like Axis Juniors to be part of this show as they were two years ago.  The children will be in at least one number of their own in each half of the show and will also be included in the finale.  Hampton Hill Playhouse is a lovely theatre and the show will be staged with a live band. The opportunity to perform with the main company does not come along very often, so we do hope that all the children will be able to take part.

Proposed rehearsal schedule:   please note the rehearsals with an * must be attended.  It would be helpful if your child can make any of the other rehearsals, however we understand that as we have to rehearse through the summer holidays that this will not always be possible.

Sunday 18^th July                   9.30 – 11.30am

Sunday 15^th August             12.00 – 1.00pm

Sunday 22^nd August            12.00 – 1.00pm

Sunday 5^th Sept.*                11.00am – 1.00pm

Show Week

Saturday  11^th Sept.*          11.00am – 1.00pm

Sunday  12^th Sept. *          1.30pm  – 5..30pm   (at the playhouse)

Tuesday 14^th Sept. *         6.30pm – 9.30pm approx  (tech reh. On stage)

Wed. 15^th Sept.*          6.30pm – 9.30pm approx (dress reh.)

Thurs – Sat                           show call time for the evening is no earlier than 7.00pm.

Please note that if your child is staying to do the finale at any point, they will need to stay until the end of the reh. on Wed.15^th, this reh. will finish at approx 10.00pm which is the time that the show will finish during the week.  If your child is at junior school we will expect them to stay along with the main company on Tues. 14^th until 10.00pm (unless they are not taking part at all in the finale or have a younger brother or sister who needs to get home).  For more information please do call Frances on 07748644041.
